Although I am drawn to math and figuring things out, I have always been excellent at expressing myself through words as well. This clear articulation has helped me succeed as a tutor with my ability to explain mathematical concepts to non-mathematically-minded people.
My attraction to math has kept me busy problem solving. Monthly statements for multi-unit apartment complexes with detailed breakdowns and large account reconciliations required the ability to find and correct problems.
I am extremely perceptive and as a mother of 3, have lots of experience anticiptating and fulfilling the needs of others. Check out my resume here for other experience which has built these skills.
I have an eye for detail. As a senior in college, the department chair of the math department waived the required statistics class that I was enrolled in through independent study when I pointed out the numerous typos in the course materials which made mastery of the class impossible.
Having worked in property management for 7 1/2 years, I am patient and can stay focused amidst all types of circumstances. With multiple people issuing checks from multiple accounts and hundreds of payments coming in, both online and in person, property management bookkeeping kept me busy.
